In June of 2004 Jim Perrin was diagnosed with aggressive bladder cancer.  To make a long story short (click here to read the full testimony)  he went through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.  None of these treatments cured Jim of the cancer and his condition continued to worsen.  The physicians offered no hope.   It was then that Jim entered into an alternative cancer treatment that centered around anti-angiogenesis*, natural killer cell stimulation and anti-oxidation (Jim takes an array of natural oral supplements including antioxidants).  This treatment was administered by a local medical doctor with added supervision from Dr. Jerry Thornthwaite, the director of the Cancer Research Institute of West Tennessee.  With this treatment Jim Perrin has lived longer that was ever predicted and is in better health than ever imagined by the Medical Doctors.  On his last visit to the Vanderbilt Urology Clinic in Nashville TN, the urology oncologist said Jim has beaten the odds.

*Tumors cells need a rich blood supply in order to grow and metastasize. Angiogenesis (Angio-blood, genesis-creation) is the process by which new blood vessels, called capillaries are formed. Capillaries are lined with endothelial cells.

Normal angiogenesis occurs under very tight physiological regulation when stimulators and inhibitors work in balance with each other. Normally the proliferation rate of endothelial cells is very low, with turnover times for these cells exceeding 1000 days.

Exceptions occur in which the angiogenesis process takes approximately 5-8 days. This is seen in wound healing, embryonic development, the monthly growth of the uterine lining in menstruation women, and also in cancer.
